WELCOME

The Société des Amis du Musée national de Céramique (Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society, FSMS) is set up to promote and develop studies and knowledge  of ceramics, in close collaboration with the museum of  Sèvres, Cité de la céramique.

The Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society gather monthly from December to June, to attend lectures (in French), followed by a convivial cocktail with the lecturer.

Visits to exhibitions, museums, artists’ studios and historic sites, as well as regular study trips to numerous countries focused on ceramics and decorative arts, have been organized for FSMS members.

The FSMS collaborates with other institutions for various events and seminars.

First published in 1992 by the FSMS, the yearly Sèvres magazine presents a selection of papers lavishly illustrated and has become a  magazine of reference in the domain of ceramics and glass.
