New Director at the Musée national de céramique, Sèvres

Charlotte Vignon was just appointed as directrice du patrimoine et des collections of the public institution Cité de la céramique Sèvres et Limoges. Therefore, she becomes in Sèvres the Director of the Musée national de céramique.

Charlotte Vignon worked more than two decades in the United States, successively in the Department of European Sculptures and Decorative arts at the Cleveland Museum of Art, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and at the Frick Collection where she acted since 2009 as « Curator of Decorative Arts ». She had in particular organized in 2015 – 2016 an exhibition devoted to the porcelain collections of Henry Clay Frick which was entitled – in a somewhat premonitory way –  ” From Sèvres to Fifth Avenue : French Porcelain at The Frick Collection “. Charlotte Vignon is doctor in art history.
