The FSMS started in 2019, with the support of Sèvres, National Manufactory & Museum, a second cycle of 4 yearly sessions of courses on the history and techniques of ceramics. This activity is open to members and non members of the Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society. The lectures are given in French by curators and specialists in the domain.
A first cycle of courses was organized by the FSMS for the period 2015-2018.
The FOURTH SESSION OF THE ON-GOING CYCLE OF COURSES is planned from September 27 to December 13, 2023.
It will be devoted to:
«LE 19ème SIECLE, LA CERAMIQUE ET LE VERRE ENTRE INDUSTRIALISATION ET INNOVATION ».
The 2023 courses take place on Wednesdays from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm via the on-line system « Zoom ».
The registration to the courses is subject to a subscription fee; the students and the members of the Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society pay a special discount price.
