Evening courses on ceramics


The FSMS started in 2019, with the support of Sèvres, National Manufactory & Museum, a new cycle of 4 yearly sessions of courses on the history and techniques of ceramics. This activity is open to members and non members of the Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society. The lectures are given in French by curators and specialists in the domain.
A first cycle of courses was organized by the FSMS for the period 2015-2018.

These lectures take place on Mondays from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm.

The registration to the courses is subject to a subscription fee; the members of the Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society pay a special discount price.

The first session of the new cycle of courses was devoted to Ceramics of the Antiquity. It was held from September to December 2019.

SECOND SESSION – September 2021 to January 2022

The courses of the second session are organized from September 27, 2021 to January 1, 2022.

This second session is devoted to Ceramics in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

Due to the sanitary situation, the courses will be presented online, on Mondays from 6.00 to 7.30 pm.

Registration fee:  30 € pour FSMS members, 60 € for non-members, 15 € for students.
